President's Report

What an amazing 6 months we've had at International Special Events Society - Los Angeles Chapter!

One of our Chapter's primary goals for this year was to push boundaries with our theme of "Engage".  I trust as part of the Los Angeles special event community you will use your participation with the Chapter as a chance to push your boundaries too!

Your 2015-2016 Board has truly outdone themselves, already achieving many of the goals they've set for the Chapter this year.  We’ve recently had our retreat and are excited about what's to come.

Our hard-working Programs & Education team is excited to present a full calendar of events. We are fully planned through June, but they haven’t stopped there! They are already planning our Fall and Winter events, so now is the time to reach out and get involved!

Membership has been growing and we have received many inquiries throughout the past several weeks for individuals and companies eager to join us during our May Membership Drive.  See details on our website and help us spread the word.

Our amazing Communications team has been working diligently to increase both our social media presence as well as keeping our website accurate and up to date. Presenting our chapter with newsletters, like the one you're reading now, that share Chapter updates, Spotlights on our members, and include other relevant surprises are an exciting new development by the Committee. Please continue to support us by sharing on social media to promote our Chapter, Members and our chapter events.

We hope that you can see the progress and would love to see you be a part of our team as we start look ahead.

We encourage you to get the most out of your ISES membership by investing time in our chapter. Whether it’s volunteering at a chapter meeting, joining a committee, applying for a Board position, or attending ISES LIVE, we invite you to Engage with ISES LA!

Sincerely Your President,

Erika Lohmar, CSEP
